Hoppers
Find below a small selection of the bespoke hoppers and chutes we have fabricated.
Hoppers
The cone Hopper above was fabricated in 2012 from 1.5mm rigged stainless steel, this was used to transfer produce from a multi head weigher to a bagging machine. This is 1.3 metres in diameter and 550mm high.
Hoppers
These types of transfer hoppers are regularly used between multi head weighing machines and vertical form fill bagging machines. This hopper is fabricated from stainless steel and comprises of 3 laser cut parts, 1 the base flange C/W mounting holes, 2 the beveled rolled cylinder and 3 the oblique rolled cone. This hopper is used in an onion factory pack-house.
Hoppers
This stainless steel hopper is a little bit unusual, as it has a flat sided oval base flange, this was used for transferring lettuce leafs from a weighing conveyor into a bagging machine.
The hopper below was fabricated in 2011 from 1.5mm stainless steel, this hopper transfers carrots from a multi head weighing machine down to a bagging machine.
Hoppers
This cone and motorized paddle unit was fabricated in 2008, it’s used to collect the onion skins as part of a cyclone extraction system. All 3 units are mild steel and the overall high is 2.5 metres.
The hopper and frame in the above photo was used in a plastic recycling factory, the hopper holds 1500kg of product
