Stainless steel fabrication
Find below a small selection of the bespoke stainless steel fabrication hoppers and chutes we have fabricated.
The stainless steel cone hopper above was fabricated in 2012 from 1.5mm rigged stainless steel, this was used to transfer produce from a multi head weigher to a bagging machine. This is 1.3 metres in diameter and 550mm high.

The stainless steel fabrication above was manufactured for a client which specializes in water features. this unit has four individual water falls positioned at the top of the sheet panels, the water is pumped up from the base reservoir, this allows the water to cascade evenly down the wall over the letters.
This unit was fabricated in July 2013
Its 3.3metres tall & 7 metres long
These types of stainless steel transfer hoppers are regularly used between multi-head weighing machines and vertical form fill bagging machines. This hopper is fabricated from stainless steel sheet metal and comprises of 3 laser cut parts, 1 the base flange C/W mounting holes, 2 the beveled rolled cylinder and 3 the oblique rolled cone. This hopper is used in an onion factory pack-house.
This stainless steel hopper is a little bit unusual, as it has a flat sided oval base flange, this was used for transferring lettuce leafs from a weighing conveyor into a bagging machine.
The 3D drawing shows the original design and flat development of the hopper.
The stainless steel hopper below was fabricated in 2011 from 1.5mm stainless steel, this hopper transfers carrots from a multi head weighing machine down to a bagging machine.
The 3D model below was drawn using the latest Autocad Inventor drawing package. Using this allows use to fabricate complex parts with ease.

This stainless steel table complete with a small gravity roller track, box and tape holder above was used in a busy pack house to collect and box small trays of product.
The above pipe work header was fabricated for a classic cars V8 engine, the engine bay was extremely tight!
The above stainless steel pipe work was installed at a carrot factory. This is used to pump chopped up waste carrots out of the building from the process line to a waste trailer positioned outside.
We had to fabricate and install the 3″ long swept bends to allow the product to flow and not block the pipe on the corners.
The above fabrication is used as screen for recycled plastics to dissipate the water away after cooling the product.
This unit is 2600mm long by 600mm wide using a 3mm perforated sheet.
