Elevator

The above elevator were built in 2012 for processing Dates in a busy pack house based in London. The produce is emptied out of boxes onto a table, this is then feed into an x-ray machine then into a macerator upon exiting the macerator the Dates are then flour dusted via a small dispensing unit located on one of the elevators, the produce then reaches the finial part of the process, the sieve this unit size grades the Dates ready to go onto the packaging machinery.

The above elevators and conveyors in this system allowed our customer to save money on labour costs and it increased the productivity of the pack-house

This machinery was fabricated from stainless steel.
The white PVC belting used on the elevators had a 12mm high cleat in a ladder formation, this pattern was used to keep the dates secure in/on the belt whilst being elevated.
All these machines have belt widths of 500mm and a belt speed of 15 metres per minute.

The above machine was built in 2011 to delivery small carrot batons into a Newtec weighing machine, with the floor space in the high-care process room being extremely tight! we had to design an elevator which could fit into the space provided. This elevator stands at 10 degrees off vertical, which then leads us onto the special flighted cleats used, these are 60mm tall and have a kink/bend half way up.

This machine was fabricated from stainless steel, has a belt width of 800mm and a discharge height of 3.3metres, the belt speed is 15 metres per minute.

The above machine was built in 2011, it was integrated into an existing production line. This machine elevates carrots fed from a diameter grader onto the elevator then up towards a pair of length graders. This elevator has a belt width of 2 metres and a discharge height of 4 metres the overall foot print length is 7 metres, it has a belt speed of 20 metres per minute.
This elevator is fabricated from mild steel and uses food grade plastics for produce contact points.

Elevator

This type of elevator is commonly fabricated using a modular conveyor belting, but for this dusty onion pack-house a PVC flighted grip top belt was more applicable. The abrasive dust tends to wear plastic modular belting and thier drive sprockets.

This compact angled elevator transfers the netted onions from the netting machine to the check weighing machine.
This machine was fabricated from stainless steel, it has a belt width of 300mm C/W 20mm high flights the foot print length of the machine is 2.8 metres

ElevatorElevator

This swan neck conveyor/elevator was built to transfer netted oranges from the netting machine towards a rotary table.

  • This elevator was 2.6m long by 400mm wide
  • This elevator was built in 2013

These conveyor belts can be supplied in many different colours and options for example

  • Side and centre tracking on the underside of the belt to prevent the conveyors belt from drifting into the conveyors side frame
  • Different materials/types for example PVC, PU, rubber, mesh & pillow, finger cleat & bakery belting
  • We can also offer an on site conveyors belt repairs and replacement service – please contact us for further details

This elevator was built i n 2010 and is used to transport Garlic from an inspection table (as seen at the back of the photo) into a counting machine. This machine was fabricated from stainless steel, it has a 400mm belt width C/W 40mm flights and is positioned on its frame at 40 degrees.

Elevator

The conveyor and elevator above were built in 2007 they are used to transport freshly cooked cereals from the oven to a bagging station. On these elevators we used the 12mm cleats to create pockets on the belts for the safe transfer of the product. Both of these units have quick release handles on their tail ends, this is to allow the belts to be slackened / removed for cleaning purposes.

Both of these machines also have nitrile lagged drum drive motor units, giving a belt speed of 20 metres per minute.
The first conveyor has a belt width of 800mm and is 3 metres long, the elevator has a 900mm belt width (to allow the conveyor to feed / sit inside it) it has a discharge height of 1.8 metres and a foot print length of 3.5 metres.
Both units are fabricated from stainless steel.

This swan neck elevator was built in 2010, this is used in one of our vegetable washer cutter lines, as a off cut or waste conveyor / elevator. This unit transfers the waste product from the cutting zone up and into a tipping bin.

This machine was fabricated from stainless steel, it has a 400mm belt width C/W 40mm high flights, it’s overall foot print length is 2.2 metres

The elevator above was built in 2007 and is used to transport loose onions. The produce which doesn’t get packaged correctly (under or over weights) can easily be elevated back up to the process line to be reused. This operation use to be done by operators carrying trays of produce up and down steps.

This elevator is fabricated from mild steel and has stainless steel product contact points, it has a 500mm belt width C/W 50mm high flights, this unit has a discharge height of 4.5 metres and a foot print length of 6 metres.

Elevator

This is a very bespoke machine, this was built in 2011 it’s used to transfer baking potatoes into a plastic dolav bin. The potatoes are feed from a processing line, this machine lowers its head into the bin automatically to find the base then the product is allowed to flow, as the produce fills the bin the head of the elevator raises, the flow and head raising continues until the head reaches its upper limit switch, the bin is then exchanged and the process starts again, this operation prevents any damage to the produce.

This de-elevator is fabricated from stainless steel, it has a 400mm belt width with a speed of 20 metres per minute, this unit is 1.8 metres long and has a variable discharge height.

The above elevator was used in a carrot processing line.

This unit was built in 2013

This was 1metre wide by 7metres long
